PROMOTION POLICY

CLASS XI

·        It is compulsory for each student to appear in the Annual Examination.

·        To be Promoted to the next class

Ø A Student has to score minimum 33% marks in each subject (separately in Theory and Practical/ Internal Assessment) in the Annual Examination.

·        If a student remains absent due to medical reasons or if he /she fails in one subject, in the Final Examination, then the student is eligible for appearing in the compartment in that subject.

·        A student needs to submit the medical certificate from CMO if he/she could not appear in any of the exams due to medical reasons

·        Students who are failing in 2 or more than 2 subjects will be detained in the same class.

Class IX

·        It is compulsory for each student to appear in the Annual Examination.

(i)            In order to be promoted to the next higher class , a candidate shall obtain a grade higher than E (ie atleast 33 % ) in all the five subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Hindi, and Social Science ) of the Internal and the Final Examinations combined .

(ii)          If a student fails in one or two subjects, then he/she is eligible for appearing in the compartment in those subjects, provided he/she qualifies in Internal Assessment of all the subjects.

(iii)            If a student remains absent due to medical reasons or if he /she fails in one or two subjects, in the Final Examination, then the student is eligible for appearing in the compartment in those subjects.

(iv)            A student needs to submit the medical certificate from CMO if he/she could not appear in any of the exams due to medical reasons

(v)              Students who are failing in 3 or more than 3 subjects will be detained in the same class.
